Abstract

In Muslim society mosque is epicenter of all educational and social activities. The collective prayer of all the Muslims in Mosque is regarded as a symbol of faithfulness. Meeting again and again is a guardian deed of general and special relations. One of the important task of the Messenger of Allah Almighty was to strengthen the dignity and respect of woman as a gender through improving and strengthening social thoughts and values. The women play an important role in the formation of Islamic society. It is a lesson delivering source that if it is corrected, then a systematic and purely society can be formed. The Holy Prophet encouraged the women apart from participating the collective prayer with all the Muslims in a mosque to participate in the collective religious, educational and social activities. The women were offered opportunities to play active role in various social activities .Holy Prophet in his several sayings permitted to go to mosque for congregational prayers. But with this there are also some other sayings of the Holy Prophet ,which show that women are more likely to pray in some corner of their home. In present circumstances, the relationship of women has been completely diminished with the mosque.Women are an important part of society and it is very hazardous to isolate them from taking part in religious activities of the society. It is also urgent to strengthen women's role in relationship with the educational institutions like mosques and schools. When for the cause of getting education the woman are coming out of the house and it is encouraged them to achieve education, but  it looks unreasonable that they are discouraged to go to the mosque to say prayer in congregation. When the state and society have everywhere made managements for their protection, why it is not possible to manage women's protection in mosques to the prayer in congregation.
