The Halal industry, which is essential to ensure compliance with Islamic dietary and lifestyle principles, faces numerous challenges that affect its integrity and growth. This paper highlights the multifaceted challenges facing the halal industry and suggests possible solutions to address these issues. Among the key challenges identified are certification and standardization issues, inadequate regulatory framework, cross Concerns about pollution, and the complexities of global supply chains are included. Additionally, consumer awareness, transparency in labeling, and the need to increase traceability in halal products are key challenges for the industry's reputation. Proposed solutions include establishing and enforcing a strong regulatory framework to ensure consistency and adherence to halal standards. Collaboration between industry stakeholders, governments and religious authorities is critical to streamlining the certification process and harmonizing standards globally. The implementation of modern technologies, such as block chain and traceability systems, can increase transparency and traceability throughout the supply chain, which alleviates concerns about cross-contamination. This paper emphasizes the importance of cooperation, transparency and technological innovation to overcome challenges within the halal industry.
