Abstract

Criminal Laws are the same for all countries and do not discriminate on the basis of caste, creed or religion. Another type of law, called civil law, deals with social and cultural issues and matters Under which certain religious parties have the right to decide matters related to family matters, especially on the basis of the customary or religious law of that party. It is also called Personal Law. As the issue of annulment of marriage falls under the civil laws and the laws of Pakistan originated from the laws prevailing in the British era which were implemented here after Pakistan in the same way, in which later amendments were made. In the article under review, Pakistani laws related to annulment of marriage will be reviewed to what extent they are compatible with Sharia laws.
