Abstract

The present study explores the legislative function of the Prophet Muhammad, scrutinizing his input towards the development and execution of legal doctrines within the early Islamic society. This research delves into how the legislative activities and judgments made by the Prophet established the fundamental basis for Islamic law (Sharia) by means of an extensive examination of historical writings, hadiths, and legal documents. The article focuses on the Prophet's approaches to justice and equality, his techniques for resolving legal and sociopolitical challenges, and the long-lasting influence of his legislative legacy on modern Islamic law. This study gives an in-depth explanation of the Prophet's legislative function, which sheds light on how early Islamic legal systems evolved and how applicable they are to contemporary situations. This article throws light the marked characteristics of the legislation done and made in the era of the Holy Prophet(PBUH).
